    Ranges = Answers

    Is there a way to setup a formula that if a number is entered into a block, a result appears in the next column.
    Example: In block 3D, I would enter the number 2. This tells block 3E to automatically enter the word "LOW".
    I would like there to be a number range 0-2 = "LOW" and 6-10 = "HIGH".
    Thanks.

    you could use this in 3e
    =IF(d3="","",IF(d3<3,"LOW","HIGH"))

    By "Block", do you mean "Cell"? If so, this is what you want.

    Glenn,
    Your formula works for what I am trying to do. The form I am working on has approx. 150 lines that I will have to duplicate this. I am still trying to learn this part of Excel. Can you explain how I recreate this formula on my document.
    Thanks

    The easiest way would be for you to post a sample from your dheet, with any confidential info removed. However, it sounds like all you need to fo is copy and paste the formuls into all the cells where you need to do this sum
