    Conditional Formatting with Nested IF Statement I think - Excel 2007

    Afternoon All,

    G2 Contains a date field

    H2 Contains a data validation field of Yes, No

    Conditional formatting to go in cell H2 stating that if H2 is set to "No" and G2 is less than one day away in the future colour the cell red.

    Thanks in advance.

    BVG

    In H2 conditional formatting
    =AND(H2="No",G2=TODAY()+1)

    Hi

    Perhaps in Conditional Formatting rules.

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =AND(H2="NO",G2<TODAY())

    How can you use Conditional Formating.

    --In Excel 2007 and 2010, Conditional Formatting is in the Styles group on the Home tab. In Excel 2003, Conditional Formatting is on the Format menu. See here how you can work using CF.

    Hi BVG
    Use this formula in the Conditional Formatting property of Cell H2:
    =AND(H2="No",G2<NOW()+1)
    Good luck.

    Thank you very much for the swift reply. It works perfectly.

    How could I make the conditional formatting apply is H2 was left blank and G2 is less than one day away?

    In any formula works for you, replace the H2="No" part of the formula to H2=""
