    Exclamation Calculating on-peak and off-peak hours

    Hello,

    I have an excel sheet that is includes generation (MWh) for an entire month. It is separated in days and in hours. I want to be able to calculate off-peak and on-peak MWh for the whole month. Off peak hours are from 11pm to 5am while on peak hours are from 5am-11pm. Also on Sundays, it’s off peak for the whole day. How can I calculate this on excel instead of doing each day individually.

    Off-peak is

    =SUMPRODUCT(B2:B1000*(((E2:E1000>=23)+(E2:E1000<=5)+(WEEKDAY(A2:A1000)=7))>0))

    On-peak is =SUM(B:B)-cell with the formula above...

    This should get you started. I colour coded the off peak hours and the on peak hours. I have totals for both and a grand total.
