Question How to make lines thinner in a graph?

    Hello.

Here is a screenshot of my problem: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img844/6378/ej4z.png

I made a graph with thousand of points, but the lines which make the curves are too thick and so I can't see exactly where they intersect. I would like to make them thinner.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Hi,

To thinner the line size in graph please follow the below steps.

    1) Right Click on the line in graph
    2) Goto Format Data Series
    3) Goto Line Style
    4) Decrease the width to 2.5 pt
    Thanks!

I've already tried that. When I try to decrease the size there's a Microsoft Excel message which says this:
"L'affichage de la mise en forme complexe appliqué au graphique sélectionné risque de prendre du temps. Voulez-vous continuer à utiliser la mise en forme ?"
Which could be roughly translated in English by:
"The display of complex formatting applied to the selected chart/graph may take some time. Do you want to continue using the formatting?"
And then when I click on "Yes" and decrease the size it does nothing.

PS: I've tried to change the language in Excel to English but it doesn't work...

I frequently get the same warning message when trying to make thinner lines. When I click on "yes" in that warning dialog, Excel has always applied the requested formatting, so I don't understand why nothing changes.

What value are you putting into the line width box? When I need to see something like this, I typically choose a line width of 1 pt or less.
