Hi,
I have a problem with an excel sheet in which, when I try to click in a cell, I get a drawing object (rectangle2) appear over or near the selected cell.
I cant do anything with it. When I click on certain cells I am fine and I am also fine if I tab from cell to cell.
I attach an example
Any help would be greatly appreciated

the only place I see "rectangle 78" (that is what I get when I open it) is the embedded object that says "May 2014" which you can move around as you want or delete.
Make contributors happy, click on the "* Add Reputation" as a way to say thank you.

Now I see the other ones you are referring to. they are embedded objects. if you click in it and it highlights the object, just hit delete if you want it gone. you can also drag them anywhere you want them by grabbing a border and dragging it elsewhere.

EDIT: I followed the instructions at the top using the F5 or Ctrl+G, then Special, then clicking on objects then OK then hitting the backspace button and it removed All the drawings.
Caution, if you want the May 2014 to remain you may have to put that on another sheet as that will be removed too.
