    Difference in date format on same work sheet

    Hii All,

    Please find the attached sample file and could somebody please tell me why i can't make whole dates in a same
    fprmat,i tried different ways but didn't work.

    Check your regional settings. Based on your regional date format (m/d/y or d/m/y), Excel will only be able to interpret one of these "dates" as a date:
    1/13/2014
    13/1/2014

    If your date formats are correct, you can use Text-to-columns to convert the "dates" to Excel dates.

    Thanks Ron,

    Tried text to columns and succeeded,except for the last date 31-06-2008,tried regional settings also can't figure it out really.

    June 31 does not exist in any year. There are only 30 days in June.
