Hi All,

I've got a problem that seems simple but I simply can't figure it out:

In a worksheet there is one column with cells that have values from a drop-down list. The problem is that in many areas the values are all the same, and boss-man does not like that. He suggested merging the cells, but I was horrified, and instead had the idea to apply a conditional formatting rule to each sequence that would make all but the first cell white font. As in, if A2:A10= "Hey You Guys!!!", then A2 would have regular font but A3:A10 would have white font.

My idea for the conditional formatting formula was to apply this rule : =IF(A3=A2,,), so that each cell who's value is the same as the one about it will have white font. However, I can't get the rule to work.

Any idea? You guys have always been incredibly helpful!

Best,

Scott
