Working with date formats and pivots

    Hello,
I'm trying to pivot data that has date and time info in one of the fields. The date information is in the format of mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM and I am trying to roll all the data up by just the day. I can't seem to ever get rid of the time granularity though. Even if I use a formula to convert the date field to text and just have mm/dd/yyyy when I do a pivot the time info comes back somehow. How can I get rid of this?

Right click on a date in the Pivot table and choose GROUP. Then select DAYS and click OK.
