Question If cell contains value then match different column to different worksheet and place value.

    Hi there,

I have two worksheets and am trying to make a target list. On one worksheet 1 I have solely accounts, so Column A is Target (which I manually enter) and the rest is information that is exported. Column B - Account Name, Column C - Account ID.

On worksheet 2, I have contacts associated with the accounts, so Column A - Target (which I want filled with a macro), Column B - Account, Column C - Name, Column D - Account ID.

When a row in Worksheet 1 has the word "target" in column A, I want it to match the account ID to the account ID in worksheet 2 and put the word "target" in column A.

Does this make sense? Please help! If further clarification is needed, please let me know.

Thanks for your help and time!

Sorry about that, I had taken a screenshot and uploaded the png.

I've attached a sample workbook. So the tags on worksheet 1 would get transferred to the corresponding rows on worksheet 2.

    Thanks for all your patience!
