Copy a range of cells to the right of a cell in a colum meeting a condition

    Hello Excel Forum,

I have been struggling with a way to use an IF statement that determines if a cell in column B = 1 then copy that cell and the two cells next to it to a cell starting in range B50. Once the condition is true would want it to copy another below and so on.

    B C D E D

1 E10 Rear door failed BL OK

2 B4 Clearance light inop. KL OK

2 C1 Fire extinguisher date expired KL Ok

1 E1 Bumper falling off BL NO

The first and fourth row have a "1" in column B. So as a result these two rows meet the condition and want to copy just the cell in B thru D. Results would look like below

First entry copied to cell B50

    1 E10 Rear door failed
    1 E1 Bumper falling off

    Any help would be appreciated

Why not use a pivot table and filter on 1? Are you familiar with how to do this?

Re: Copy a range of cells to the right of a cell in a colum meeting a condition

    Thank you for your help.

I believe that would work but why I am actually trying to do this is that I have about 50 worksheets that have a form in the sheet. When completing the form if a "1" is in a certain cell in a row it would copy it and the two cells to its right down to a cell below the form starting at B50. After each worksheet form ran a macro then all of these worksheets that met this condition are copied to a separate worksheet "Out of Safety Compliance" starting at cell B2. Hopefully I didn't confuse this even further

Are the data sets similar for all tabs or is their unique logic to help identify what you need?
