Making a drop down more obvious

Hello,

This is kind of a nice to have but the old Excel had a very obvious way of showing that a cell was a drop down:

But the new one has this:

As you can see its not as easy to spot that it is a drop down and I have had to embellish it to try and make it so.

Is there a way to get back to the old style and make it more obvious?

I'm not sure you can I'm afraid. You could alternatively use a combo box, these are visible even when that cell isn't selected.
