Work and edit Excel file over internet

Hello to all,

Does somebody know an option to access an Excel file over internet/intranet?

The file that have macros and I'd like to be able to work on the file online doing changes (edit the file). I mean,
the normal work as in a local PC (adding, removing cell values, etc) and have available the macros inside, and after
make any changes, update (save) the file in the remote server.

Upload to a cloud or network drive, then you can access.

But with the option you say is possible to work on the file online without download it?

What I would like is like have it in a PC in the cloud that let me work on the file and use its macros. I think should be like have it in a server with a windows enviroment.

I found something called Microsoft Sharepoint but I'm not sure if it is exactly for that or it is too much and if maybe there is an easy way.

If it's on a network then certainly possible. If it's on the internet, I see no reason why it can't be done over a virtual desktop or cloud.

This isn't really a question about Excel, it's a question about networking. I'd google providers of this sort of service, or if it's an intranet issue, speak to your IT department.

Yes, is more like networking but I only ask here since I'd like to be able to work only with the file without affecting the macros inside the file and without the need to download first to a local Windows machine and after any change, save it and uploading again.
