Having the same "merge" in different columns

    Hello,

I need help for this job.
I have three columns and in this first column I have some rows which have been merged before.
Now I want that in the third column there should be the same merges that are present in the first column.
    Is it possibile?

    An example is attached.

    Thank you so much.

If you are planning to make calculations using this data, merged cells are NOT a good idea. They may look pretty but are a nightmare to work with. You might want to consider this:

No, I don't have to do any calculations on that... It's just to show my data.

I have not understood your example.... Did you do only a pivot?

To the left of the Pivot Table, there is a small chart of what your data should look like in order to be useful. The Pivot Table was created directly from this small revised table.

If you have your data in a Table like in this example and the Pivot table is generated from the table, the Pivot Table when refreshed, will have all the data from the source table.

I used only the data in the small table to produce the Pivot Table. Worksheet formulae will not merge cells and do formatting. This, I believe, is possible using VBA.

If you are only making a presentation, Word tables are very easy to work with and you can split cells horizontally and vertically which you can't do in Excel.
