More likely that you have excessive "blank" rows in each or all of the sheets.
If you press Ctrl-End on each sheet, which cell is selected? If it is way beyond the data, then you need to delete columns to the right of each data area and rows below the data area. You MUST use the Delete icon on the ribbon, not just the delete key.
You may have selected whole columns or rows when applying formatting or conditional formatting. Or you may use formulae to prepare rows for input. For example,
Formula:
=IF(A2="","", ... some formula ...)
