Populating Data Based on Two Criteria

Hi I'm trying to populate a table based on two different criteria in a another table. On is based on a date and the other the number of a unit. I'm trying to get the data in sheets Week 1 and Week 2 into the format in sheet Example. Is there a way to create a series of functions, filters, etc that I could use to create a macro to do multiple sheets or at least a whole sheet at once? I've been trying to think through it with my limited knowledge of filters and functions but I can't come to a good solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the file with an example and I'm using Excel 2007: Example.xls

It looks like the units are the same from day to day (and almost from week to week?)
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Populating Data Based on Two Criteria

Data organization means a lot when it comes to extracting data for reports and other uses. I have taken the liberty of re-organizing the data as an example. Included is a table that has a drop-down list in C2 to extract data for the unit chosen. Change the choice and the data changes to match the unit. Also included is a pivot table example.

The Data tab has your data arranged vertically and is in a table. As you enter data the table expands and allows you to filter records quickly and easily using the filters at the top of the columns. The top row has been frozen so that it is always in view for easy reference.
