creating financial statements rapidly

Hello. This is a question for financial analysts or accountants. Do you have a way to quickly create formatting for an income statement (with bolds, border types and stuff like that?) Essentially, I'm interested in any resources, templates, or advice related to working in excel and financial statements. Also, if anyone has examples of how to do lookups for YTD, MTD, etc. that would be great. Thanks!!

I attach a template based on what I have used in the past.

The idea is that the left side of the spreadsheet is printed, but data from the accounts system is entered on the right side. So you can do lots of wonderful bolding, underlining and colour changing, and these will last all year. Just change the month number in cell B1

The Outturn is actual + budget for the remaining months plus any adjustments (column V) which have to be fully explained, of course!

I am not setting his forward as any standard - just something that worked for me.
