index match across multiple sheets

Hi guys,
I'm a new member & also a very intermediate excel user.
My problem is this.
I have created a workbook with 6 sheets.
Sheet 1 = summary, sheets 1- 4 = Week 1 - Week 5
I need the weeks seperate to return weekly results.
Each of the weeks is broken down in to the days & corresponding dates along Rows 1 & 2
On line 22 I have a Column A is a supplier names & expenses
Expenses are entered according to supplier & date & total is accrued in row 30
On the summarry page in column A I have the dates 1 - 31 & B is the total for the day in the respective week.
When I use the formula =INDEX('week 1:week 5'!$B$2:$H$22,21,MATCH(A3,'week 1:week 5'!$B$2:$H$2))
I recieve a #value error.
If I take out the reference :week5' I do get the correct result for the 1st week but no more than that.
Any ideas how I can match the date on the summary sheet to the date from the relevant sheet & corresponding total would be greatly appreciated.
