Threshold values from graph or data

I have a list of data that I have plotted onto a line graph.
I need to make the spreadsheet so that a user can input a threshold, and receives back the number of times that the value exceeds this threshold.
The graph looks like a wave.

I.e. I need to know only once it exceeds this threshold, but not how many values are above the threshold.

Thanks for any help that you can provide me with!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Basically, from graph - not-so-easy, but from data you shall be able to countifs

I had similar case handy and adopted for your needs, but in general I fully support bebo021999 comment on attached sample workbooks (see my previous posts Attach a workbook is probably one odf most common phrases).
