    Excel SUMIFS help

    Hi,

I'm trying to understand how a certain cell gets populated in an excel i received, the cell contents are

    =SUMIFS('Sub RLine'!R:R, SR_Country, $C$4 & "*", SR_SubRLine, $C$5 & "*")

What i don't understand is how a "criteria range" can be "SR_Country" or "SR_SubRline" ? How is this a range ? How can I see the cells in this range ?

    Thanks a lot !

    They are Named Ranges.
Click on the Formulas Tab - Name Manager

You can also just type the name in the "Name Box" to the left of the formula bar.
