I am looking for advice about date triggers and how to input them as a formula in excel - and to get the trigger dates to change colour as they near termination... Any ideas would be appreciated

I am looking for advice about date triggers and how to input them as a formula in excel - and to get the trigger dates to change colour as they near termination... Any ideas would be appreciated
Conditional formatting using formulas along the lines of :-
=EDATE(InputDate,Months)<=12
Where inputdate is the qualification date
Months is the number of months
12 months (in this case) is the criteria for formatting for a year or less
Elegant Simplicity............. Not Always
