Search Cell Data and copy without duplicates

I,m Faily new, but have some experience with excel. I can copy a VBA code if needed.

I am completey up against the wall. Is there a cell formula or VBA that can help me. preferably cell formula for simplicity
What I'm trying to do is lookup a description matching the date on worksheet 1 cell (a2) and go to worksheet 2 and copy all descriptions associated with that date into worksheet 1 in cells b3:b6 (array may vary) without duplicates.
The date and descriptions relate to safety inspections and I am trying to include them in a report. The answer is important to me as well as the benifits to many others.

Moderator's note: OP had trouble changing the title in the first post so I used the title he added later. Also wrapped the example in code tags to preserve spacing. Also deleted post that duplicated this one. --6StringJazzer

Re: MAN DOWN, I've Been Beaten, Need Help

Hi and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

    Hi,

I think you'll need to upload the workbook noting which cells are original data and which cells are results, and clearly explaining what rules have allowed you to arrive at your results
