Calendar - does week one contain XYZ?

Hello

Please see attached.

I am creating a calendar to track customer accounts/movements.

In column A i want one of the following;
1. Either the cell to tell me when the customer was last "chased" and to return a date, I will then conditional format it according to date which I can do.

2. OR, a formula that checks whether they have been chased in week 1, if no brings up message "Chase wk 1", if yes have they been chased in week 2? and so on. I need the weeks to be Monday-Friday.
