Hi I have the following formula for a named range, I need to incorporate the title UseList (relates to a flexible data range) into it, any ideas?
=INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE($H$16," ","_"),"&","_"),"""","_"))
Cheers

Hi,
"Incorporate" where? In what way? What should the result be? How does this relate to your previous post?
Please try and provide as much information as possible in your initial posts so that we can help you.

Your current formula replacing the Space, & symbol and " Single quote with Underscore character.
After that redirecting it to the named range with the use of Indirect.
What modification you are looking to do with it? Please describe it in detail![]()

This data validation formula relates to the first drop down list in H16, the result of that lists selection needs to lookup up UseList, however due to the nature of the titles in the H16 dropdown list the spaces and the & symbols need to be taken into consideration.
Hope that helps to explain.

Please let us know the text value of H16 Cell![]()
The Variants are user entered and can incorporate any text, numerics and the & symbol -
