Vlookup across two instances of Excel (2 seperate workbooks)

Is there an easy way to copy the array in a Vlookup formula between worksheets? I can always manually type the workbook local and particulars in the formula but I was looking for an easier way similar to what you can do when you set the array for sheets contained within the same workbook. (Select the cells and it automatically recognizes them in the formula.)

    Thanks,

    Met

You may not select cells in a different instance of Excel. May you not open both workbooks in same instance?
