Converting New File From Old File

    Hi
    I had a quick question

so i have a blank file and a data file for current year with formulas.

so i am trying to take a couple of tabs from current year data file and pasting them into the blank file

My question when is do that all the formulas get referenced to the current years file. i want to keep the same formulas but reference the tabs on blank file

is there a quicker way to do this rather and going into all the cells and changing reference from current years files data to blank files data

    thanks

Try saving the Old file with a new name. Delete the tabs you don't want or need in the new file. Delete any data in the new file that you don't want or need.

I cant do that because the blank file has other new tabs that i need to use. my only option is to copy data from current year.. is there a faster way to change the formula reference to blank file because i am keeping all the tabs name the same

You could use the Find and Replace function within Excel. In your version, it is on the Edit menu.

Look here on how to do this
