I am setting up a spreadsheet to extend date to the following cell. I am using the simple formula of =A4+1 and instead of being blank until A4 has a date I am getting Sunday, January 01, 1900. Could someone help me with the additional formula to keep the cell blank?
Try this: =IF(ISBLANK(A4),"",A4+1)
=A4+1 = 1 on a blank cell and so returns 1/1/1900 if cell formatted as a date
you could use
if(a4="","",a4+1)
