With so many variables, perhaps it is better to compile a table of them all and then you can use a VLOOKUP formula, as in the attached file.

thank you for your answer, but i dont think it will work, i need to have finaly something to react like this. Chooseing one charactristic from the drop down list in each of the 6 colomns, and than in the colomn with weighting of failure should apear depending on combinations ...low,medium,high. Each line will be for a separate product, so each combination diffrent. In my excel I put all possible combination. I got the idea from the atached excel, but here is only 2 colomns and not so many combinations.
