Please refer to attached sheet.
I have dated data as shown.
I want to highlight the data for the date in Cell A1.
In attached sheet, since A1=2/9/2014, then i would like to highlight cell H2:H15 in yellow.
Please help with this by using Conditional formating.

select b2 to h15
conditional formating
new rule
use a formula option
put
=B$2=$A$1
pick a fill colour
once done you just need to copy the format to wherever you need it
