How to calculate the remaining rates for a loan

Hello, I'm using excel 2011 for mac and have been trying to find out a specific formula for this:

I have different loans and i'd like to get the remaining rates number and the amount of $ needed.

It's structured as this:

Rate  Rate Start   Rate Finish   Number of Rates   Total Amount   Remaining
100    start date   finish date     48                       4800 $            ???

The remaining amount of money should calculate the Total amount - number of rates remaining ( total rates - paid rates in base of today's date)

Is it possible?
