i want to figure out what i need to do to track daily sales with 10% growth from previous year total sales.
I have 12 separate sheets for each month.
On each sheet i have separate columns"date" "goal" "actual" "% from goal".
What function/formula is needed to calculate the daily target goal taking into account that weekends are busier ?
Please help me. Thank you.
what information do you have of last years sales - do you have a daily record
and also do you know what factors influenced those results, ie a sale or promotion
I would then get a profile of last years - down to daily if thats what you need
and then workout the 10% increase across the profile

Last years sales * 1.1 to get the 10% growth
you could then divide by 365 to get daily sales required , if you assume a flat daily rate
