    Highlight duplicate value in two different sheets using conditional formating

    Please help me how can we find or highlight the duplicate value in two different sheets using conditional formatting. Awaited for your quick response.

    can you upload an example spreadsheet

    are you looking to format 1 sheet if the same value in a cell on the 2nd sheet is found
    if so, you could use vlookup() in the conditional format

    =vlookup(A1,sheet2!A1:A200,1,false)

    Highlight first range then click on the other tab, press Ctrl key and select second range. Go to Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells Rules, Duplicate Values.

    CF does not work directly across sheets in 2007
