    how to use vlookup with conditional formating

    hi all my friends,
    i need your help in this case, i want to make conditional formating for a row in a table when i write the value of one its cells, and repeat this conditional formatting for entire table when i write the value in the entire column, i tried to use vlookup several time but i doesn't work properly
    in this case i want to highlight entire row in table ( b7:i100) when i choose value in column k.

    1) Highlight B7:I1000 (or however far down you want to go)
    2) Apply this Conditional Formatting Rule:

    New Rule > Use a Formula > =ISNUMBER(MATCH($F7,$K:$K, 0)) > Format > Fill > Yellow

    Thanks alot, but it doesn't work properly with all rows, some rows are correctly formatted and other not, I uploaded the updated sheet,

    You only applied the CF rule down through row 255. Go to Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules, and adjust the range of that rule down as far as needed.
