Column to line without shifting the information: I REALLY NEED IT

Please for the past couple of weeks I have been stuck to figure out using this formula and that will enable
me the select 6 Airplanes from a drop down menu in A2:A20 in place them in line as followed

=SE.ERRO (ÍNDICE ($A$2:$A$20;MENOR (SE ($A$2:$A$20 <> "";LIN ($A$2:$A$20) -LIN ($A$2) +1);COLS ($A$2:A2)));"")


AIRPLANE 1 must be in C1
AIRPLANE 6 must be in D1
AIRPLANE 8 must be in E1
AIRPLANE 20 must be in F1
AIRPLANE 11 must be in G1
AIRPLANE 9 must be in H1


Unfortunately when I unselect AIRPLANE 1 the rest of Airplanes shift and become


AIRPLANE 6 in C1
AIRPLANE 8 in D1
AIRPLANE 20 in E1
AIRPLANE 11 in F1
AIRPLANE 9 in G1
and H1 cell become empty

MY desired outcome if to have for instance if I unselect AIRPLANE 1 then C1 must be empty and the rest the cells remain in their position
as followed
C1------------ must be empty
AIRPLANE 6 remains in D1
AIRPLANE 8 remains in E1
AIRPLANE 20 remains in F1
AIRPLANE 11 remains in G1
AIRPLANE 9 remains in H1


and if I select airplane 13 in must go in C1
