In CF for Cell B9 use
='Leave data'!B5="Leave"
Copy -- Paste special -- format across the range of data
Not entirely sure whether this would work across the 2033 Excel version too though![]()

You need to use "Named Ramges" as your data are in different sheet. Then use this in CF rules.

You have to increase-modify your named ranges. Read the article to understand how this works!
