How do I compare just the first 10 characters in two sheets

Match first 10 characters of one sheet with another sheet

I have two sheets with company names.
The company names in each file have been entered over the past year by numerous staff employees.
Sometimes, the names entered are not consistent.
For example, sheet2 has "Citigroup Inc" in one file and then sheet1 might type "Citigroup Co" in the other file.
As well as sheet1 has "American International Group Inc" but sheet2 typed by "American International Company"

Therefore, they are not a one to one match.

I only need the first 10 characters of the words in sheet1 to match the first 10 characters of the words in column B.

I want in sheet3 to only match the first 10 or so characters between each file. How do I do this? (Id, COmpany)

I want in Sheet 4 to not matching/unmatched items. Is this possible?
