Display hours untill a deadline

Hi

Ive searched for hours on this but cant find anything.

My work involves deadlines from when i receive an order, the deadlines are in hours of 4, 24, 48 and 72.
I have the date received in one column and then the numbers of hours in a list in a different column.

How do I get a deadline timer to work between the two.

Also is there a way to select a specific date rather than type it in?

Say i have today 04/01/14 in a1 and i have to get the job done in 72 hours which is selected in a2, how do I get a3 to tell me how many hours i have left until the job has reached the deadline.

The date in A1 will give you a serial number representing 00:00 ; i suggest you add half
a day (0,5) to that so you start counting at 12 noon.

Formula in A3 can be =((A1+0,5+A2/24)-Now())*24
