    Text before a formula

    Forum members,

Another silly question. I want to put some text before my formula so I can get everything in 1 cell. This is what I'm looking for but can't get it to work: = "DAYS IN UK TOTAL " [and them my formula] (COUNTIF(B2:B366,"UK") which will give me a number answer. Trying to impress the tax man, any help appreciated.

To simplify want to do this: Days in UK: Number (derived from formula above).

    Re: Text before a formula

    welcome to the forum. maybe:
    ="DAYS IN UK: "&COUNTIF(B2:B366,"UK")

    or format cells to Custom:
    "DAYS IN UK: "#

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    = "DAYS IN UK TOTAL " & COUNTIF(B2:B366,"UK")
