Exclamation Is a Automatic Rotation is possible?

I was wondering if you could help me.

    Example:
    "CA" means "Column A"
    "R1" means "Row 1"

    CA CB CC CD
    R1 Gas Boy Log

    R2 Date: 12/16/2013
    R3 GAS
    R4 KEY START FINISH
    R5 A1 39148.6 39163.6
    R6 A2 36766.4 36812.9
    R7 A3 20672.7 20714.3

This is what i am doing, I want to know how can i get a daily automatic rotation.

Today is 12/16/13. Tomorrow is 12/17/13 i want a rotation: "Finish" "CC' column to rotate into the "Start" "CB" column everyday.

I do not want any numbers to appear in the "Finish" "CC" column when it turns into the next day because my employees will punch in numbers in the "Finish" Column. Do you know what I mean?

I want it to look like this below:

    CA CB CC CD
    R1 Gas Boy Log
    R2 Date: 12/17/2013
    R3 GAS
    R4 KEY START FINISH
    R5 A1 39163.6
    R6 A2 36812.9
    R7 A3 20714.3

I would like it to automatically to rotate everyday from CC to CB. I don't know what formula to use or if its even possible. What is the Formula for this? Can you please help me. Thank you.

Re: Is a Automatic Rotation is possible?

Hi and welcome to the forum

1st, please note that cell referencing in ex cel is generally accepted to be A1, B2, C3 etc (Column A row 1, column B row 2, column C row 3 etc)

I am having a hard time making out what you mean here, but it sounds like you want to take "new" data from 1 range of cells and copy it to "yesterday's" range?

It might be easier to help if you attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Hello and Thank you,

I try to rephrase it for you:

If you click the attachment below, you could click on the worksheets and maybe you could see that I am trying to get an automatic daily rotation.

    Example:
In the worksheet I have date 12/24/13. Click on the next worksheet it switches to 12/25/13. When you look at the "Finish" "C5” column on 12/25/13 it rotate into the "Start" "B5" column.

I am not an expert on Excel. Is there a Formula for this? I’ve been searching and cannot find one… Can anyone help me please? Thank you.

I hope you could help me, it is for my job and thank you for replying.
