    Inventory PAR Levels

I am working on inventory PAR level project. I have data from the last 3 months and need to determine what the PAR levels should be to ensure that there is never shortage or an overstocking issue. I have the data from all 3 months on one worksheet but want to be able to place on another worksheet the PAR levels for each of the products. Attached is a sample data set. Can someone help - PLEASE!!

I believe that you need to define what a PAR level is. How is it calculated for your product. What information do you want on a separate sheet. Are there more than one product on a sheet? We need to know more about your situation to give you some advise.

PAR Level would be what is the MIN, MAX usage during a given time period and from there determine how much should be on hand at all times to ensure no shortage or at the end of the month there is no overstocking issues. On a seperate worksheet I want to have a form that the ITEM ID or Item Number can be selected from a drop-down and the results of the of MIN, MAX and AVG usage will appear based on the 3 months of data and provide a suggested PAR level for the selected product. The PAR level would look at the item use and then add in a 3 day additional stock to account for unforeseen customer usage. I would also like to have a report generated that will pull the MIN, MAX and suggested PAR level and have that compared to the PAR level that is currently in the database to see if any adjustments need to be made.

Suggest you create what you want manually, so that whatever is designed can be tested against to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you should design what you want the output to look like. We can assist you in getting the results, however. Then post your design with the manually calculated values based upon your explanation and the data provided.
