Total repeatition from three spread sheets

    Total repeatition from three spread sheets

    Please there are 3 sheet with data and one with Total

    sheet one A1=1 , A2=5; A3= 7, A4=9, A5=3
    Sheet two A1=10 , A2=3; A3=7, A4=5, A5=3
    Sheet three A1=5 , A2=6; A3=8, A4=8, A5=6

    sheet four (Total) ? is that possible to know how many time these numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8,9,10
    have been repeated on sheets one , two and three ?????

    in sheet for ,
    I assume you have a column A in sheet 4 with 1,2,3,etc - starting at A2
    assuming in Column A row 2
    in sheet 4 B2 put
    =COUNTIF(Sheet1!$A$2:$A$5,A2)+COUNTIF(Sheet2!$A$2:$A$5,A2)+COUNTIF(Sheet3!$A$2:$A$5,A2)
    and copy down

    You can do above solution for each sheet manually.
    or if your sheets are named Sheet1,Sheet2,Sheet3... you can try this:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
