    Traffic Light system to identify a due date HELP

    In Column L I need it to change color from Green to Amber to Red when it is due to be renewed I need the amber to come on when it is 21 days away and red when it is 10 days away the date it was done is in column k hope this makes sense

    can anyone help

    Sorry think I am being a bit thick I have tried this but I am using excel 2007 and the conditional formatting doe not show condition 1 and 2 not sure what to do will this work with this version of excel

    I believe this will work in Excel 2007 as well. You need a rule for each condition (one rule for red, one for yellow and one for green). The one I would use for this is "Format only cells that contain..." and in the formula box add your conditions .

    When pulling up the Conditional Format menu, choose Manage Rules and then add a rule for each condition as outlined in the post by Bob Phillips.
