excluding holidays and sundays

Hi,

I want to formulate the dockets cleared as sameday, next day and third day clearance which conditions that excluding sundays and holidays. For example if a docket booked on 20/11/2013 and cleared on 22/11/2013 then if 21/11 is sunday/holiday then its clearance wil be next day excluding 21/11 and if 20, 21 are holidays/sunday then it should move to same day clearance. pl help!!

Sounds like you just need the NETWORKDAYS.INTL function.

Will set up something like this:

start_date = the cell listing the date the docket was booked open
end_date = cell with the date the docket was cleared
days_clearance =NETWORKDAYS.INTL(start_date, end_date, 11, holiday_range)

yeah, and with a WORKDAY-style function you've can get that number.

What more do you need?

if there is a holiday/sunday in between the dates ten it should omit and take it as a before /after day clearance.ex: if it is cleared o day clearance.n 2nd day and if it is holiday then it should go to first
