Removing dollar sign from conditional formatting

    Hi
Does anyone knows hoe to remove a dollar sign from the conditional formatting?
I am trying to copy formatting across all cells which has different references.
I don't really want to create the conditional formatting for every cell (this would be a nightmare)!
When I copy my conditional formatting the formula has a dollar sign that is automatically assign and all cells has the same reference as the cell that formatting was copied from....
How can I archive above please?

    1. Open the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager
    2. Click "Edit Rule..."
    3. (It should be set to "Use a Formula"; all of the "Format based on range" don't require references to the cells.)
    4. In the formula, make the appopriate range (row and/or column) subjective.
    5. Click OK
    6. Then select the range you want it applied to.
    7. Click OK to close the Rules Manager.

That should just about do what you want, right?
