trying to set cell values on sheet1 to equal tab names and auto update

sample.xlsxdamn thing gives me an error when i try to upload the file but heres the problem. i have a sheet set at the end to use as sheetlist references. i am now at a point where sheet names may have to change and i need a formula on my sheetlist page to auto update the sheet names in each cell when i change the actual sheet name. function/formula needed? running excel 2013

basically im looking for a formula on the cells in sheet1 where the list of sheets is to update the sheet names in the cells when i change the name of the worksheets directly.

You'll need to use a macro. Something like

Then decide which event should trigger and run the macro and attach the macro to that event. Perhaps the Workbook Save event, or a Button click event.
