    Chi square test

    Hi,

    I am trying to find out the chi square test for a unequal ranges of observed and expected data. Please tell me how to go about the formula to find out the number.

    Here is the help file for the built in =CHITEST() function http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...in=HP005203066 that should explain how to use the function.

    If you need instructions (from a statistical science viewpoint) about how to structure and perform and interpret the results of the chi square test, I might suggest you refer to an introductory statistics text or any of the online tutorials for this test.
