    Question summarise by month

    I have a list of daily data and want to summarise by month and year, how can i do this?

    Hi angel1 and welcome to the forum.

    To summarize your data by month and year can be dome using formulas such as:
    SUM, SUMIF, SUMIFFS, COUNT, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, SUMPORDUCT, AVERAGE, AVERAGEIF and few more.

    Depends on the nature of the data. If you were able to attach a sample or just create one, the picture would be clearer.

    Assuming you have dates associates with whatever your're summarizing, you could use SUMIF(S) or SUMPRODUCT.

    On the bottom of your screen click on Go Advanced the click on a paperclip on the toolbar. Click Add Files, select file, upload and Done.

    Thank you, I glad it worked for you. I simply used Excel Pivot table feature which is most suitable in this type of situations.
