I'm wondering if this is what you mean.

English is not my native language sorry for errors
Please correct me if I'm completely wrong
Age Bracket (D9) ===> =INDEX($A$2:$A$5,MATCH(B9,$B$2:$B$5))
Can you work out the other columns from that?
Hope this helps.
Pete
Here's my version. I've made the assumption that if Column C states a car park is not needed then the fee for parking will not be charged... I might be wrong in that assumption though.
Only thing that may raise an issue is if you needed to do this actually using LOOKUP rather than anything else.
popipipo that was excellent thanks tough as BadlySpelledBuoy stated Column C states a car park is not needed then the fee for parking will not be charged i have to leave as 0 what would be formula then and thanks to everyone i don't have a clue,how uses get so good at excel any recommended books etc and yes I've to use LOOKUP BadlySpelledBuoy
LOOKUP or VLOOKUP?
Any of vlookup hlookup or lookup

Hi Pete it's not an assignment my lecturer asked us to have a crack at this workbook but never thought us this its just to try but I want to know Formula's/functions.
What would you recommended as book or ?
Now completed using VLOOKUP. Because you cannot automatically look LEFT in a VLOOKUP I've combined it with CHOOSE in order to look up the age bracket. It's scruffy but works. I much prefer the INDEX/MATCH approach.
Also provided an alternative solution to Task 1.
