I thought I had this formula solved (i even marked it as solved!). I discovered a fatal flaw in the formula and i need help fixing it.
I am trying to create a list that has unique values (again).
I need specific information returned in a created list that is unique to the Value and based on the Description field regardless of the order of the Value/Description.
There can be duplicate Values each with varying Descriptions. When ALL the same Values have the Description equal to "Yes, it will work.", the returned list should return "Yes, it will work." Otherwise, i dont care what goes into the cell as long as it isnt "Yes, it will work."
Within my attached file, I have some fake data (on the left), with the created list (on the right) with some formulas that get me just about there.
There are 4 Values of AM x04 , the first description is "Yes, it will work", but the following 3 Descriptions are identified problems. therefore, the cell that is created in the list CANNOT contain "Yes, it will work."
My current formula is wrong! It only captures the first time a "new" Value occurs and it is listing that first Value's Description.
I need a formula that can find all the same Values (i.e., AM x04) and compare all their descriptions. If any of the Descriptions is not "Yes, it will work", then display anything else (could be an "X")
Thanks for all the help!
