    Help with IF formula

    Hi All
I'm struggling with an IF formula on excel which I hope someone can help with.
I'm sure its almost there but its currently not working.

Basically I have two columns which I want to link together to plot an "x" on a graph when the selected criteria is met.

The formula in the above screen shot is what Ive been trying.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Tom

    Re: Help with IF formula

    =if(and($k$12>80,$k$12<100,$L$12>0,$L$12<20),"x","")
    Try it this way.

    Re: Help with IF formula

    Hi popipipo
Thanks for the advice but that still didn't seem to work.

The criteria imputed to the cells K12 & L12 should be within the formula, therefore an "x" should be plot on the graph.
Any other help would be appreciated.

    Re: Help with IF formula

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =IF(AND(K12>0.8,K12<1,L12>0,L12<0.2),"x","")

    Thank you so much newdoverman.
I didn't think the % would cause such an issue.
    Solved!

    Re: Help with IF formula

Percentages can be tricky because you have to treat them as decimal fractions and not the number that you see in the cell.

    Thanks for the feedback.
