Special Remove Duplicate Filter

Hi All,

I am working on putting together a spreadsheet that contains potential clients for the sales people in my company to call on.

My problem is that I need to remove all of the people in the spreadsheet that are already clients so we don't call on them.

Is there a way to do this without having to do it manually?

If you select the range with the criteria, then click Data > remove duplicates this should do it =)

You could also use VBA but this is the easiest way to do it

There are probably several ways of doing it. It's impossible to advise which way will be best for you, though, without understanding your workbook.

How are your potential / existing clients stored?

It will be easiest if you attach a workbook showing exactly what you have, and what you want.

That will remove duplicates, but won't necessarily remove existing clients...

The requirement needs clarity.

The problem is that I don't want to remove all the duplicates.

The list that we purchase has a number of facilities on them, and sometimes up to 10 contacts for each facility. Some of these people are already clients though.

I pulled our client list from our database and combined it with the purchased list. I want to remove all of the people on the purchased list that may be clients.

Please provide an example workbook. Without it your requirement is not specific enough for us to provide solutions.

Here is an example of what i am dealing with.

As you can see there are multiple contacts for each facility.

I want to remove all of the rows for Facility C because they are a current client, and we dont want to call on them. Clients that i pulled have all blank fields except for the name of the facility to make them more distinguishable.
